Eden Project Morecambe Community Conversations 2024

Eden Project Morecambe

Community Conversations

We are delighted to share details about the upcoming Community Conversations programme hosted by the Eden Project Morecambe team.

The Eden Project Morecambe, a major new attraction, re-imagines Morecambe as a seaside resort for the 21st Century, inspiring wonder and a connection with the natural world, drawing on the Eden Project’s focus on education, ecology and community.

These events offer residents a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue about the development of the Eden Project in Morecambe.

Get Online at Your Library

A promotional banner titled "Get Online at Your Library: Start your digital journey today." The illustration features a diverse group of four people sitting on a bench, each engaged with different digital devices. From left to right, an older man with glasses uses a tablet, a woman with blonde hair uses a smartphone, a young child interacts with a device, and a man with brown hair works on a laptop. The scene is set against a library backdrop with modern lighting, promoting digital literacy and access to technology at the library.

For those interested in participating online but who may need assistance with computer skills or access to equipment, Bolton-le-Sands Library offers resources to help you get online. The library provides:

  • Computer Skills Workshops: Learn the basics of using a computer, navigating the Internet, and joining online meetings. Booking prior to the session is required via Get Online at Your Library to ensure personalised assistance is tailored to your individual goals.
  • Library Computers: Book time on library computers if you need to use equipment to attend an online session. You will need a library card, and Library Staff can quickly set up a card for those without one, or you can apply online. Please bring your own headphones for video viewing to avoid disturbing other library users.

If you have any questions or would like some support on either of the above, please pop into the library and talk to a member of staff.
