We are delighted to share details about the upcoming Community Conversations programme hosted by the Eden Project Morecambe team.
The Eden Project Morecambe, a major new attraction, re-imagines Morecambe as a seaside resort for the 21st Century, inspiring wonder and a connection with the natural world, drawing on the Eden Project’s focus on education, ecology and community.
These events offer residents a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue about the development of the Eden Project in Morecambe.
Event Details
- First Event: Tuesday, June 4 at 1:30 PM (Online via Microsoft Teams)
- Regular Schedule: First Tuesday of every month, through to January 2025
- Formats: A mix of online and in-person events

Purpose of the Conversations
The Eden Project Morecambe aims to create a world-class visitor destination with a strong focus on the environment, education, and community involvement. These Community Conversations are designed to:

- Foster Engagement: Encourage active participation from local residents in shaping the future of the project.

How to Participate
- In-Person Events: Attend the scheduled events as listed. Venues for in-person meetings will be confirmed closer to the dates.
- Online Engagement: Participate via Microsoft Teams. Links and sign-up details are available on Lancaster.gov.uk/eden-conversations.
Get Online at Your Library
For those interested in participating online but who may need assistance with computer skills or access to equipment, Bolton-le-Sands Library offers resources to help you get online. The library provides:
- Computer Skills Workshops: Learn the basics of using a computer, navigating the Internet, and joining online meetings. Booking prior to the session is required via Get Online at Your Library to ensure personalised assistance is tailored to your individual goals.
- Library Computers: Book time on library computers if you need to use equipment to attend an online session. You will need a library card, and Library Staff can quickly set up a card for those without one, or you can apply online. Please bring your own headphones for video viewing to avoid disturbing other library users.
