The Rotary Club Santa’s Sleigh collection
was 6.5% up on last year with £7,626 donated over the 16 outings.  It was indeed wet on many nights and it took
Santa’s Elves quite a long time to dry his outfit ready for the next day – but
most worthwhile as all of this kindly donated money goes back into the
surrounding area, and again included toy vouchers that went to deserving
families just before Christmas.  Thanks
also to Norjac Mitsubishi in Carnforth for providing the Sleigh towing vehicle
and to Speight’s of Lancaster for the satsumas handed out to children
– and thus complete the magic of Santa’s visits.
