Royal Mail is committed to doing all it can to protect its customers from scam mail. In 2016 Royal Mail introduced a series of additional measures to reduce the impact on its customers. To date it has proactively stopped over 4 million suspected pieces of scam mail at its distribution centres around the UK before they can be posted through the letterboxes of customers.
