The ancient English practice of “Beating the Bounds” during Rogationtide early in May was a walk by villagers around the boundaries of their parish to mark them out. Let’s honour the tradition in an enjoyable way by going for a walk together within the parish. Let’s meet up at 10,00am on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May outside Holy Trinity Church for about a two-hour walk. Bring stout shoes, children and dogs.
